Animorphosexual
Animorphosexual (also known as Kemosexual) is a sexual orientation characterized by attraction toward anthropomorphic animal characters and animal-human hybrid characters, officially existing since June 3rd, 2026.
This includes furry characters, puppyboys, catgirls, kemonomimi characters, original characters (OCs), avatars, roleplay characters, and similar beings that combine human and animal traits in a humanoid form.
The defining characteristic of Animorphosexual attraction is that the subject is based on an animal species while also possessing significant human-like qualities, such as human intelligence, communication, personality, identity, emotions, behavior, or humanoid physical traits.
Scope
Animorphosexuality applies specifically to attraction toward anthropomorphic animal characters and animal-human hybrid beings, whether fictional or otherwise represented as human-like individuals.
The term does not include all anthropomorphic beings in general. While “anthropomorphic” can describe any non-human entity given human traits, Animorphosexuality is limited specifically to beings based on animals or animal species. Anthropomorphic plants, objects, concepts, or other non-animal entities are not included in this definition.
Anthropomorphic animal characters are not ordinary animals. They are characters or individuals based on animal species that possess human-like intelligence, communication, personality, emotions, identity, and often humanoid physical features.

Each colour has its own meaning:
- 💜 Purple: Identity, individuality and imagination
- 💙 Blue: Human traits such as intelligence, communication, emotions, and personality
- 🩵 Turquoise: The blend of human and animal traits
- 💛 Yellow: Diversity of animal-based anthropomorphic forms
- 🩷 Pink: Attraction, affection, romantic and sexual feelings
Clarification
Animorphosexuality must not be confused with zoophilia.
Zoophilia refers to attraction toward actual animals. Animorphosexuality refers specifically to attraction toward anthropomorphic animal characters or animal-human hybrid beings that possess human-like characteristics and are not ordinary animals.
